Interim Divisional Controller
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Divisional Controller for a government agency in Stockholm with approximately 750 employees.
Main duties:
- Coordinate and drive the planning and monitoring process for financial planning but also strategies, objectives, missions, risks and efficiency initiatives and long-term plans.
- Monitoring and analyzing business performance, project follow-up for business projects; both investment and overhead projects.
- Responsible for the budget and forecast of the division.
- Participate in the preparation of decision-making documents for investment decisions for the enterprise's board and management team.
- Participate in overall work on external and internal reporting to the client, Board and management team. This includes elements such as interim reports, annual reports, budget and forecast reporting and relevant steps in the follow-up of the business plan.
- Development of processes and working methods in the field.
To be eligible for the role:
- Academic degree in economics or equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of work experience as a controller in a government agency or large company.
- Work experience of having been part of a management team of a business/government agency.
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
- Several years (more than 2 years) experience in the energy sector.
- Experience in investment costing.
- Experience Unit4 Business World (UBW) and Mercur.
- Can combine the government perspective with business acumen.
- Educational and able to support managers with different knowledge backgrounds.
The assignment starts on May 19 and runs until November 22. We will present candidates by March 9.
The selection process takes about 8 weeks, partly due to security checks.
