Interim Demand Planner
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Demand Planner to Doro AB. You will report directly to the company's Purchasing Manager and be overall responsible for supply chain forecasting and capacity planning.
Doro is a Swedish public company and its shares are listed on Nasdaq OMX Stockholm. Doro is a global market leader in its category - telecom for seniors. The business is represented in 40 countries, has sales of SEK 1,800 million and 550 employees.
As Interim Demand Planner, your responsibilities are:
Forecast
- Compile operational forecasts for all markets and products
- Analyze and challenge the forecast and demand planning processes
- Participate in forecasting and purchasing meetings
- Drive relevant actions towards the internal stakeholders based on forecast analysis
- Support for financial forecasting and budget reporting
Kitting
- Participate in the introduction of new products
- Manage the supply chain for the kitting process, including planning, ordering, shipping and inventory management
- Optimizing inventory and material usage priorities
Supply flow
- Support the management of customs and VAT for shipments worldwide
- Supporting the phase-in and phase-out process of products
- Actively work on inventory optimization, cash flow calculations and analysis
- Daily monitoring of product flow, trends and potential issues
- Capacity planning with production partners
- Planning of components and buffer stocks
Your internal contacts will preferably be with the operations and product development teams in Europe and Asia, but also with the quality, finance and sales functions. The external contacts are mainly with suppliers in Asia.
To be eligible for the assignment:
- Do you have a solid experience from a similar role in a small or medium-sized company in the near future
- You have advanced Excel knowledge and are fluent in English and Swedish
- It is an advantage if you have experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV (ERP)
We will present candidates on Monday, January 9 at 14:00 and interviews at the company will take place on Wednesday, January 10. The assignment is full-time and will start immediately after the selection process and is expected to last until April 30, 2017.
