Interim Head of Controlling
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of interim Controller for a company in Stockholm pending permanent recruitment.
In the role of Interim Head of Controlling, you will be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analyses, as well as leading projects related to internal governance and control. The role includes leading the team and driving development initiatives.
Responsibilities in the role of Interim Controller:
- Ensure oversight and management of financial matters for most business units.
- Improve efficiency within the controller function.
- Monthly Financial Statements and Reporting.
- Budget and forecast.
- Overall responsibility for driving profitability in the company's business areas.
- Improve cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and develop the controller team, which consists of a handful of people.
Who we are looking for
- You have recently held a similar position as Head of Controlling or Chief Financial Officer at a medium-sized to large company.
- You have extensive leadership experience and are motivated by developing teams; as a leader, you are humble and communicative.
- You are business-oriented, have a high energy level, and are motivated by change initiatives.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with implementing internal governance and controls in accordance with COSO is a plus.
About the process
We are reviewing candidates on an ongoing basis. This is a full-time position, starting immediately—but no later than January 8—and is expected to last for six months until a permanent replacement is in place.
