Interim Chief Accountant
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint a Chief Accountant to a billion-dollar company in the Gothenburg area.
Main duties:
- Ensure the accuracy of general ledger entries and daily accounting tasks
- Prepare and ensure the quality of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with regulations and accounting standards, including IFRS
- Reporting
- Prepare documentation and maintain dialogue with auditors
- Lead and develop the accounting team, a local Financial Controller, and staff within the SSC
- Develop and improve processes in SAP S/4HANA
To be eligible for the role:
- At least 7–10 years of experience in advanced accounting
- Independent financial reporter with experience preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Strong knowledge of RFR2 and IFRS
- Experience from large companies
- Analytical and solution-oriented
- Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
- Spoken and Written English and Swedish
- Academic training in economics
- Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
