Interim Search has been commissioned by Runsvengruppen (ÖoB) to appoint an interim Category Manager with the task of developing an attractive range for our customers and generating the best profitability for the company according to set goals. The workplace is the Runsven Group's service office in Skänninge 3 days a week and the rest from the place of residence. The role reports to the Business Area Manager.

The assignment includes category work, supplier negotiations and creating the conditions for the best care of the range in store. Furthermore, strategic assortment development is included as continuous improvement negotiations of the existing assortment and that you handle campaign planning for your products and monitor what is happening in the market.
To be eligible for the assignment:
- You are results- and goal-oriented.
- You have a good sense of different buying behaviors and how to attract, engage and motivate customers to shop at ÖoB.
- You have many years of experience in sales management in the retail sector in a central position.
- You can demonstrate a proven track record of creating successful commercial sales solutions, from concept to implementation.
- You have recently worked as a category manager and are strongly results- and business-oriented.
- You have a keen interest and sense of what is commercially viable.
- You are a skilled negotiator and have experience in international cooperation and business as most of our purchases are made in Asia.
- You understand effective goods flow.
- As a person, you are structured, analytical, driven, flexible, and unpretentious.
- Preferably education in Economics/Purchasing and/or Marketing.
- The Special business area includes areas such as kitchens, home furnishings, cleaning, electricity & leisure and seasonal, experience in these categories is considered an advantage.
- The position involves some travel and reports to the Business Area Manager for Special.
We present candidates on an ongoing basis. The assignment will start as soon as possible, but no later than January and is expected to last for 6 months.
