Interim Business Controller, Stockholm
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an experienced Business Controller for Insula Sweden. The company was founded in Norway in 2014 and in Sweden in 2015; it is growing very rapidly and now has approximately 1,500 employees. In Sweden, Insula operates through Marenor Seafood, Lobster Seafood, and Fiskeriet AB. The company produces and sells herring, caviar, fresh fish, and other products to both retail stores and restaurants.
We are currently seeking a Business Controller who will report to Insula’s Swedish CFO. Of the three Swedish companies, the primary focus is on Fiskeriet AB. The position includes the following main responsibilities:
- Analysis deviations, forecasts and outcomes
- Analyze and report on sales and production
- Define and monitor KPIs
- Be responsible for establishing the structure and follow-up procedures in the finance department
To be considered for this role, you must hold a degree in business administration or equivalent, with at least 10 years of experience in senior controller positions, primarily within the FMCG and manufacturing sectors. You are an advanced Excel user and have solid experience with profitability and product cost calculations. Experience with system migrations is a plus, as Insula has recently switched business systems. You thrive in a dynamic and ever-changing environment and aren’t afraid to take on tasks that help develop the finance function.
