Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim Accounting Manager for Apcoa Parking, a leading player in the Swedish parking services market. The company's main business is focused on establishing and operating parking facilities. The company has a turnover of approximately SEK 700 million.
The Accounting Manager manages a team of 5 employees and reports to the Finance Manager. The role includes traditional accounting in the Microsoft Navision ERP system. In addition to this it also includes:
- Leading the team and managing HR issues, coaching and developing employees
- Contribute to increasing cooperation between accounting and controlling
- Responsible for producing the annual report (five companies in total)
- Handle VAT issues together with the finance manager
The company is owned by a US PE firm and the group is headquartered in Germany. To be considered for the role, you should have a university degree in economics, preferably with a major in accounting. You should be an experienced manager with 5-10 years in senior positions in the field - preferably in service companies. You should have a light-hearted and easy-going approach to collaboration and the variety of tasks that can be accommodated in the role.
