Interim Head of Business Control & BI
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of interim Head of Business Control & BI at an international, publicly traded company with billions in revenue based in Stockholm.
In the role of Interim Head of Business Control & BI, you’ll join a company that is poised to take its next step in its development. The purpose of your assignment is to develop Business Control and BI during a transformation process through leadership and structural changes within Business Control and BI, in addition to managing day-to-day operations.
Main duties:
- Lead a small group of employees
- Conduct an analysis of the current state of data structures, expertise, and system changes
- Train and support the organization in making data-driven decisions
- Plan, develop, and implement strategies
- Manage the forecasting and planning process
- Develop KPIs and a follow-up procedure
- Monthly reporting, monitoring, and analysis of revenue, COGS, and profitability
- Ongoing work to develop and improve models, processes, and projects
- Identify risks and opportunities in the business
- Understand and Organize Data
- Gain an understanding of the organization’s analytical needs and develop reports based on data
- Develop the BI organization that has been under the IT department
- Lead a change initiative aimed at reorganizing and restructuring Business Control and BI
- Implement any system changes efficiently based on the organization's needs
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- Experience from previous assignments or employment in similar roles in the recent past
- Proven experience leading change initiatives in BI and as a Controller or CFO
- Experience implementing ERP systems
- High level of expertise in IT systems for Business Control and Business Intelligence
- Experience working internationally, where most of the staff is located in a different time zone
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last 9 months, beginning in May. Presentations and interviews with the client company will take place on an ongoing basis.
