Interim Chief Financial Officer
We are currently seeking an interim CFO for a family-owned company for a 6-month assignment based in Örebro. Revenue: 60 smek; the company is operating at a loss. The company’s finance function is neglected, and they need structures, procedures, processes, a cleanup of the accounting records, and effective financial management. Among other things, they have been working manually in Excel, which has led to poor control and quality.
The Finance Department currently consists of a part-time consultant (who is about to leave the position), a person who handles payroll, day-to-day bookkeeping, and payments, and a Finance Assistant. The CEO and owner is an entrepreneur with no financial background who primarily needs help gaining control over the finance function; secondarily, the company is seeking a CFO with commercial acumen and the ability to drive the business and the company forward.
