Interim Business Controller
Interim Search has been tasked with finding an Interim Controller for our client in the pharmaceutical industry. The position is based in Kastrup, Denmark.
The role focuses on business controlling for the Nordic region, working closely with the Center of Excellence and the local management team. Given the complexity of the organization and the business environment, we are looking for an experienced controller who can quickly add value and work independently.
The position requires working at the Kastrup site at least four days a week.
Main responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted business partner to local management
- Responsible for certain aspects of the monthly closing process
- Perform variance analysis and identify the root causes of deviations
- Prepare and submit monthly reports
- Monitor and track KPIs
- Business Reviews
- Budgeting Process
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- At least 7 years of experience in a commercially oriented controlling role
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken
- Understanding of accounting and regulatory principles
- Experience from larger international organizations with complex structures is a significant advantage
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry is considered an advantage
- Experience working with SAP is considered an advantage
About the process
The assignment is a full-time position and will begin as soon as possible, preferably at the end of October. The estimated duration of the assignment is 6 months.
Candidates will be presented to the client on Monday, October 12, and interviews with the client for the selected candidates are scheduled for October 13–15.
