Interim Program Director – Energy & Infrastructure
Interim Search has been entrusted with filling an interim Program Director position at a company that needs to strengthen its program management in the energy and infrastructure sector. In this role, you will have overall responsibility for driving programs through development and planning, with a focus on progress, coordination, commercial conditions, and quality. You will ensure that the program is delivered in accordance with established goals, timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
Main duties
- Lead and manage the program through the development phase
- Ensure coordination between technical, commercial, and regulatory workflows
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams
- Be responsible for program planning, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk management
- Ensure the quality of business cases, investment proposals, and decision-making materials
- Engage in dialogue with customers, partners, government agencies, and other external stakeholders
- Monitor and report on the program's progress, risks, and key performance indicators
- Ensure that the program's objectives and business value are achieved
To be eligible for the role
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical education
- At least 15 years of experience in energy, gas, process, or infrastructure projects
- Experience with EPC/EPCM and construction management
- A solid understanding of regulatory requirements, HSE, and risk management
- Strong leadership and negotiation skills
About the Assignment and the Process
