Interim Financial Director
Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing an interim Financial Director for a business unit within a large corporate group with annual revenue of approximately 5 billion SEK.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- The role involves leading the finance team (about 10 people), ensuring high quality in monthly operations, and providing a sense of security and stability within an organization that is currently undergoing some changes.
- A deep understanding of and ability to adapt to the needs of the finance team, CEOs, site managers, and Group Finance.
- Responsibility for financial statements and day-to-day accounting matters.
- Manage, ensure quality, and provide stability within existing systems and procedures.
- The consultant needs to feel comfortable in an organization that can be a bit turbulent at times and see the value in bringing order and stability to the existing situation.
To be eligible for the role:
- 10–15 years of experience in a similar position, with extensive experience in preparing monthly and annual financial statements.
- Is confident in K3 and has a good understanding of accounting principles.
- I have worked within a corporate structure and understand the relationships between companies and the complexity that comes with it.
- Experience with systems such as NAV, Pyramid, Cognos, Opto, and QlikView is preferred (not required, but highly desirable)
- Has a work style characterized by humility, dedication, focus, and a willingness to collaborate.
About the process:
The assignment is for 80-100 % and is expected to last 6 months, with a likely possibility of extension. The position is based at the client’s office in Helsingborg.
