Interim Search makes the Financial Times 1000 list of Europe's fastest growing companies in 2026

2026-03-05

The Financial Times has published its prestigious annual ranking FT1000, which identifies the 1,000 fastest-growing companies in Europe. Interim Search once again makes the list, this time at number 920, consolidating the company's position as one of the most expansive players in Interim Management in Europe.

The award follows an impressive string of recognitions from the Financial Times. The company has previously been ranked 621st (2021) and 831st (2025), and as recently as the fall of 2025 was named one of Europe's top “Long-term Growth Champions” (72nd) for its sustained growth over a decade.

The strategy behind it: High ambitions and niche delivery

The success rests on a clear strategy signed Stefan Granqvist and Wictor Bonde. Since its inception in 2012, the company has been driven by high growth ambitions and a culture where ambitious goals are the norm. To meet a market where customer requirements are becoming increasingly specific, niche and business-critical, the organization has undergone a strategic development over the past year:

  • Strategic expansion and team building: With high growth ambitions, Interim Search has continuously recruited key competencies and consistently welcomed new employees. This has created a robust organization that strengthens both the delivery capacity and the commercial functions to meet the increased demands of the market.

  • Organizational optimization: Through strategic redefinition of roles and a more niche team structure, Interim Search has increased the precision of the matching process. This refinement of the organization ensures that the company can respond to growing demand while maintaining speed and providing even more specialized advice.

  • Focus on Research: A large team of researchers acts as the bridge to the top candidates. This enables the selection of top candidates even for difficult requirement profiles and in odd geographies, with a delivery that often exceeds client expectations.

  • High performance culture: By recruiting people with high energy and genuine job satisfaction, it has created an environment where people thrive, develop and want to grow with the company.
