Interim Product Safety Engineer
Interim Search has been entrusted with filling an interim Product Safety Engineer position at a company in Västergötland.
Main duties:
- Conduct risk assessments and review products and technical documentation in accordance with applicable laws and standards.
- Participate in the product development process by supporting the organization and setting requirements regarding product safety issues.
- Be responsible for maintaining communication with suppliers and work closely with the purchasing and sourcing department.
- Manage interactions with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance in all markets.
- Monitor developments in new and changing legal requirements related to product safety and sustainability.
To be eligible for the role:
- Preferably a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, chemistry, or a comparable technical field.
- Experience working with product safety, regulatory requirements, or product development.
- A solid understanding of the application of relevant laws, standards, and regulations.
- Organized and quality-conscious, with the ability to work independently and in a business-oriented manner.
- You are a good communicator and a team player
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
