Interim Chief Financial Officer
Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of appointing an interim CFO for a major industrial company in southern Sweden.
Main duties:
- Lead the finance function with overall responsibility for the Group’s financial management, capital structure, and long-term profitability.
- Conduct financial planning and analysis (FP&A) to provide a basis for decision-making regarding strategic investments and operational optimization in the production chain.
- Be responsible for investor relations (IR) and serve as the primary point of contact for the capital markets, analysts, and shareholders in a publicly traded environment.
- Optimize financial systems, KPI structures, and performance management processes with a focus on cost control and transparency in an industrial operation.
- Support the CEO and the Board of Directors in corporate governance, strategic business development, and any M&A processes and integrations.
- Manage financial risks at the Group level, including currency hedging and price hedging for raw materials and energy.
- Ensure high-quality reporting and compliance with IFRS, and drive the development of the company’s sustainability reporting (CSRD).
To be eligible for the role:
- Extensive experience in senior finance roles, including several years as CFO or in an equivalent position at a publicly traded company.
- Background in industry or manufacturing with an understanding of complex workflows and operational efficiency.
- Experience in the capital markets, including investor relations and financial reporting for publicly traded companies.
- Proven ability to lead and develop finance teams in a changing environment, with a focus on both business value and accuracy.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build trust among the board, management, and external stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in economics or accounting, preferably supplemented by a master's degree or an MBA.
About the process:
This is a full-time position, and the assignment is expected to last approximately 6 months, with an immediate start date. We will present candidates during Week 10.
