Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Head of M&A, Strategy, and Business Development to a group of companies with billions in turnover, located in Oslo.
Main duties:
- Develop and refine the company's strategy and business plans in close collaboration with management and owner companies.
- Lead strategy processes and ensure action plans.
- Conduct market and competitor analyses and transform insights into concrete recommendations.
- Identify and follow up on M&A opportunities, including dialogue with potential acquisition candidates and development of strategic cases.
- Actively contribute to developing and presenting strategic recommendations and business cases for management and the board.
- Act as a sparring partner to the CEO and management team on important strategic and commercial issues.
Who we are looking for:
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in strategy and business development, either from consulting or in line roles within growth companies.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to structure complex issues.
- Proven experience in leading and driving strategy processes and analyses.
- Experience of M&A processes.
- A combination of strategic understanding and operational execution capabilities.
About the process:
The assignment is for 100% and is expected to last approximately 6 months. The work will mainly be carried out on site at the office in Oslo.
