Interim Process Engineer
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an Interim Process Engineer for a small plant at a medium-sized company with a chemical background in Stockholm.
Main duties:
- Develop and work with P&ID and process flow diagrams.
- Ensure that the process works as required and monitor flows and functions through the different phases of the project.
- Participate in technical choices of equipment and components - from dimensioning to ordering.
- Interact with project managers, assembly and external suppliers.
- Participate in the testing, commissioning and handover of the installation.
- Review and contribute to layout and piping design in AutoCAD (2D and 3D).
- Be involved in the establishment of new, smaller facilities.
To be eligible for the role:
- Engineering degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a process engineer.
- Experience working with P&ID and understanding and following up technical flows and processes.
- Ability to see the big picture but also get down to technical details.
- Experience working close to assembly, commissioning or testing would be an advantage.
- A practical, solution-oriented approach and confidence in working with both technicians and suppliers.
About the process:
The assignment starts immediately, is full-time, and is expected to last for approximately 12 months.
