Interim Senior Project Manager, Transport & Logistics

The customer currently has an AGV system that was implemented in 2008-2009. The technical lifespan has already been reached and the AGV system is now running on ”overtime.” You will be responsible for preparing procurement documentation for a new logistics system. The project involves reviewing the very latest technology available on the market, but also gaining a good insight into what the future holds in terms of upcoming solutions.

Main duties:

• Lead the project that will result in the procurement of a new transport system (AGV/AMR system).
• Ensure that the desired documentation (information gathering, mapping, analysis, market intelligence) is produced in accordance with the organization's guidelines.
• Report regularly to the steering group on progress, risks, and decision-making needs.
• Documented requirements for future management.
• Ensure that the new transport system can be linked to the new logistics management system.
• Analyze current logistics flows.
• Coordinate efforts between different departments and external actors, including suppliers and consultants.
• Prepare documentation for communication to the steering group.

To be eligible for the role:

• Proven experience in project management within logistics and automated transport systems.
• Experience in healthcare is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of the implementation of IT systems for logistics.
• Strong communication skills and experience of collaborating with various stakeholders.
• Experience of leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders and parallel work streams.
• Documented experience in logistics procurement
• Reporting: The project reports directly to the steering group for logistics systems and participates in coordination meetings according to a set schedule.
