Interim People Manager
Interim Search has been entrusted with the appointment of an Interim People Manager for a company in Stockholm.
Main responsibilities and duties:
- Act as a strategic HR partner to management in Swedish operations and align HR efforts with business needs.
- Build trusting relationships with managers and teams, and act in an advisory capacity on HR-related issues.
- Developing leaders through coaching, training and ongoing feedback.
- Lead a small HR team with clear direction, ensuring that the team's efforts are in line with the company's overall objectives.
- Managing complex personnel matters and ensuring compliance with labor law, especially in a trade union environment.
- Contribute to coherent and efficient HR processes related to e.g. performance management, salary review and succession.
- Proactively work on the recruitment and onboarding of operational and collective hiring roles, in collaboration with the TA team.
- Drive change initiatives and support the organization during transitions.
- Participate in trade union negotiations and maintain good relations with trade union representatives.
To be eligible for the role:
- Academic degree in HR, Business Administration or equivalent field.
- At least 7 years' experience in advanced HR work, much of it in an operational environment with a focus on collective workers.
- Solid experience in managing complex HR matters in business-related roles.
- Previously had budget and performance responsibility and a good understanding of business-driven HR initiatives.
- Previous experience in leading and developing teams.
- In-depth knowledge of Swedish labor law and collective agreements, and experience of working in a trade union context.
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies for professional and operational roles.
- Ability to build strong relationships and influence decision-makers at different levels.
- Very good communication and cooperation skills, as well as conflict management skills.
- Structured and solution-oriented with good analytical skills.
- Used to working in unionized activities.
- Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
About the process:
The assignment is expected to last for 7 months on a full-time basis, starting immediately. We will present candidates to the client on Friday, May 2.
