Interim Data Engineer
Interim Search has been entrusted with the task of filling an interim Data Engineer position at a group company in the construction industry.
Main responsibilities and tasks
- Establish and maintain a consistent structure for the Group’s master data—such as product items, customers, suppliers, and organizational units
- Ensure high data quality, traceability, and efficient data sharing between companies
- Independently identify areas for improvement, propose solutions, and drive change
- Collaborate with Finance, IT, Sales, and Production to ensure that data for reporting and analysis is relevant, accessible, and reliable
- The position reports directly to the CEO
To be eligible for the role
- Experience in a similar position within a corporate group structure
- Experience with database development projects and ETL processes
- Very strong knowledge of SQL
- Experience with Power BI, SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or similar tools is a plus
- Experience working with master data in a corporate structure
About the process
This is a full-time position and is expected to last approximately 6–8 months, starting immediately.
