Interim Senior Accounting Manager

Siri is a self-motivated interim accounting manager with a number of interim assignments under her belt. She has previous experience of working at an accounting firm and enjoyed the variety it offered. She therefore appreciates the flexible, stimulating way of working on an interim basis. We hired Siri for a twelve-month assignment, which she recently left after an extension. When Siri was hired by the client, she immediately took over responsibility for day-to-day accounting, including customer and supplier accounts, bank and balance sheet reconciliation, and closing and reporting processes. It was not an explicit change assignment, but she also helped to develop some key accounting procedures and establish new processes to streamline and quality-assure the accounting work. In addition to her more routine tasks, Siri was also a valued and helpful colleague who was always available to answer questions from customers, colleagues, and suppliers. Overall, the customer felt that they had gained an effective temporary resource who handled workflows with a high level of service, speed, and accuracy. She also took the initiative to address any problems that arose.
