Interim Search has been entrusted with appointing a Senior Project Purchaser within Process Automation for a large Swedish industrial group in Gothenburg.
We are looking for a senior purchaser for the procurement of production and process equipment. The role involves carrying out and coordinating a large number of strategic purchases. You will report to the Purchasing Manager and also play an important role in optimizing and streamlining our customer's purchasing processes.
Job responsibilities:
- Strategic procurement of production and process equipment
- Ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness
- Negotiate and establish agreements with suppliers
- Follow up on deliveries to ensure timeframes and budget
- Contribute to the development and optimization of purchasing processes and procedures
Qualifications:
- >10 years of work experience in the field
- Good understanding of heavy process industry
- International experience in strategic purchasing
- Solid expertise in EPC and EPCM contracts
- Strong business focus
- Experience in high-level negotiations
- Good communication skills
