Roberto is a civil engineer by training. Since graduating, he has worked in project management, purchasing, product development, and supply chain. In recent years, he has specialized as an interim Supply Chain Manager. He recently completed an assignment at an international company in the SME segment. He was hired during a period of sick leave and was tasked with maintaining production at two foreign factories, both in terms of day-to-day operations and strategies for streamlining, meeting targets, and following guidelines. The assignment placed high demands on coordination, and Roberto had contacts spread across Europe, Asia, and the US. Roberto spent the last few months of the assignment working on improvements and strategic measures to streamline production. He developed supplier management and terminated the collaboration with a couple of subcontractors. One of his biggest contributions to the assignment was that, together with an outsourced supplier, he developed faster and more secure flows with the help of digitalisation.
Roberto has extensive knowledge of supply chains and has worked in complex organizations. He enjoys traveling for work.
