Maria has been working in the field of sustainability for the past fifteen years, exclusively at large, billion-krona companies in Sweden and abroad. She is accustomed to working independently and often takes on a mentoring role in her assignments. Her desire to motivate others to prioritize sustainability drove Maria to start working as an interim consultant four years ago. She is now wrapping up a year-long assignment at a food company where she has led projects to advance sustainability efforts. Among other things, she has been responsible for sustainability reporting, conducted internal training sessions, implemented policies, and reviewed work processes and suppliers from a sustainability perspective. Prior to that, Maria was on assignment at a manufacturing company where she developed a sustainability strategy and created models for calculating environmental impact and emissions, which served as effective tools for sustainability reporting.
Maria's role is to bring in cutting-edge expertise that will permeate the organization even after she leaves. She has primarily worked in manufacturing and production companies.
