Alexandra is an experienced consultant with more than fifteen years of experience in the field of purchasing. During her career, she has shifted between working operationally with purchasing, being a leader, and, in recent years, mainly working with process development within her area of expertise. Alexandra started as an interim consultant three years ago. One of her most recent assignments was at a billion-dollar company in the retail sector, where she was part of the strategic purchasing function and worked primarily with analyzing and developing purchasing processes. Previously, she has held a number of different roles as a strategic purchaser, purchasing project manager, and operational and tactical purchaser. Alexandra is driven by streamlining the logistics chain and supply chain. She also helps to build and develop purchasing functions. This includes performing cost analyses, developing and procuring business systems, recruiting for the purchasing organization, and acting as a sounding board and advisor to the CEO and management team.
Alexandra has experience in everything from startups to multinational corporations. She enjoys working in an operational capacity, but in recent years has taken on more of an advisory role in her assignments.
