Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim ERP Integrator to a manufacturing company in the automotive industry located in Hässleholm. The client has approximately 90 employees and SEK 275 million in revenue.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
- Begin examining the current system and the company's workflow and business process landscape across all functions to identify strengths and weaknesses before optimization begins.
- Work closely with relevant key users/business process owners and review their day-to-day practice in the existing ERP system to identify weaknesses, breaches in the data streams (fit-gap analyses, etc.).
- Start collecting, systematizing, and visualizing relevant information from various ERP modules, data sources, etc. in the company.
- Verifying functional requirements and key user activities and their relevance/requirements in the existing ERP system.
- Review of existing business processes, oprocessing customer orders/manufacturing orders and purchase requisitions on orders/issuing purchase orders.
- Review general purchases (security services, consumables, IT equipment, etc.), receipt of material deliveries or external services, and receipt of invoices with or without purchase orders.
- Review utilization of material or pre-fabricated components and matching of invoices and purchase orders.
- Resource planning/management and posting hours on productive/unproductive jobs.
- Review aftermarket services/spare parts (opening and closing orders).
- Opening/closing of internal orders for warranty/developments/internal activities, e.g., ERA approval.
- Issuing customer invoices/requests for advance payments based on certain milestones.
- Act as a bridge and interface between management and functional/module key users and the necessary IT consultants who are responsible for ensuring the technical aspects of a successful ERP software revision and optimization.
- Create/secure an end-to-end approach covering all aspects of the company's business processes and analyze how standard processes may have to be adapted to fit the company's business model and functional needs.
- After the review, identification of weaknesses, setup of business processes/conceptual solutions, and final implementation.
- Support and educate key users on how to follow the relevant workflows of their individual ERP modules most effectively.
- Ensure awareness/qualification/knowledge in the relevant departments by establishing guidelines and proposing training for staff where necessary.
- Reporting to Sweden MD and Steering Committee (Holding Company).
To be eligible for the role:
- Technical knowledge, deep understanding of the technical aspects of ERP software.
- Experience/knowledge in ERP processes including sales, production, purchasing, storage, service, and finance.
- Most important – Business awareness, Know-how to map business processes to the ERP system and ensure that the module features meet the needs of the business.
- Know-how about standard business flows required in a typical process landscape in an ERP system.
- Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical key users effectively.
- Problem-solving skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and ability to conceptually troubleshoot technical issues (identify disruptions, etc.) and efficiently guide IT ERP experts.
- Business Analysis/Business Process Engineering (key is proven experience in analyzing, setting up, and improving business processes).
- Experience in medium-sized manufacturing industries.
- Strong Swedish and English language skills.
