Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Work Environment Manager at group level for a company in the technology industry. You will lead, coordinate and follow up that the entire group works actively to prevent risks and ill health. The role leads, develops and follows up on work environment work in accordance with legislation, rules and regulations in order to avoid risks and injuries at work and assist with expert knowledge in the field.
The Group's Health and Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that the company conducts systematic health and safety work, focusing on keeping the company's staff up to date by conducting training linked to the owners' health and safety policy. The focus is also on creating new routines in chemical management. This role reports to the HR Manager.
Main duties:
- Develop and implement systematic health and safety management throughout the organization.
- Implement, develop and streamline processes, organization and ensure competence in the area.
- Coordinate health and safety work in the Nordic region.
- Assisting the CEO and senior management in deciding on overall health and safety objectives, annual action plans and policies.
- Conduct training in the field, linked to health security policies.
To be eligible for the role:
- You have several years of experience in a similar role in industry, construction or installation - both at a strategic and operational level.
- You have experience in designing, implementing and operating processes and procedures.
- You have a university degree or professional degree in a relevant subject, for example health and safety engineer.
- You are highly committed, results-driven and collaborative.
- You are fluent in spoken and written English and Swedish.
- It is an advantage if you are trained in BAS-U and BAS-P.
- Experience as a health and safety inspector is an advantage.

About the process:
The assignment is full-time and is expected to last 9 months, starting no later than June 1st. You are expected to be on site at least 3 days a week.
