Interim Strategic Purchaser
Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an Interim Buyer with MRO/RSM expertise or category expertise within the engineering industry. You will play a role in the client’s ongoing journey toward a category-driven procurement organization.
You will be part of the Nordic procurement organization, which collaborates with the Group’s global procurement function. You will work closely with key stakeholders and report to the head of RSM.
Main tasks:
- Manage procurement activities in the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operating Supplies)/RSM (Rolling Stock Maintenance) category.
- Plan and execute project purchases, develop procurement requirements, and manage RFI/RFQ processes.
- Lead and manage strategic suppliers.
- Be responsible for strategic sourcing activities.
- Drive improvements and negotiate with suppliers, and sign contracts.
- You will be part of a project team of 4 people.
To be eligible for the role:
- You have extensive experience in similar roles.
- You have experience MRO/RSM or similar category expertise with knowledge from the engineering industry.
- You are a strong and supportive leader.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- A university degree or equivalent experience.
- Experience in an international environment.
- Experience in using English as a corporate language.
