Interim Group Business Controller
Interim Search has been commissioned to fill the position of Interim Group Business Controller at a publicly traded investment firm.
As Interim Group Business Controller, you will report to the Group CFO and be part of a finance team consisting of three people. You will also interact with the other two executives at the parent company (the CEO and the CHRO) as well as with the CEOs and finance professionals at the portfolio companies.
Main duties
- Participate in the quality assurance of monthly and annual accounts and quarterly reports
- Manage the budgeting, forecasting, and projection process
- Monthly analyses and compilation of monthly reports from the Group's subsidiaries
- Responsibility for compiling the Group’s sustainability reporting
- Responsibility for compiling one of the corporate groups’ monthly reports and for the budgeting process
- Participate in processes and procedures related to compliance and group-wide policy documents
- Participate in integration projects for new companies following acquisitions
- Ad hoc projects involving Group companies
- Ad hoc analyses for the Group CEO and CFO
- Act as an ongoing sounding board for both management and the CEOs and CFOs of the group companies
Who we are looking for:
- You are a Business Controller with at least 3 years of experience
- You have an analytical mindset and must have very strong Excel skills
- You have experience in manage budget, projection, and forecasting processesr
- You are communicative and proactively contribute new ideas
- You are positive and self-driven
- You are used to communicating in English and Swedish in speech and writing
- Experience with Aaro and Stratsys is a plus
About the process
The assignment is for 100% of full-time work. It will begin in mid- to late August and is expected to last 12 months.
