Interim Chief Financial Officer

The company is experiencing strong growth and has a turnover of just under SEK 1 billion (2022). In true entrepreneurial spirit, they strive to always drive development within their specific niche in the Swedish market. In the role of interim CFO, you will be responsible for developing the company's financial functions, optimising its financial performance and ensuring that the company achieves its financial goals. The CFO is part of the management team and works closely with the CEO.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's financial strategies and objectives.
• Create and be responsible for budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
• Analyze the company's financial results and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Manage the finance department with responsibility for 1 employee. Support department managers in financial matters.
• Cost and efficiency analysis.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities, and ensure compliance with all financial regulations/laws.
• Evaluate and recommend investment opportunities/business development opportunities.
• Ensure accurate financial accounting and reporting.
• Responsible for the company's tax planning.
• Collaborate with banks, auditors, and other financial stakeholders. Manage relationships with insurance companies and suppliers.

To be eligible for the role, you have:

• At least a bachelor's degree in economics, finance, or a related field.
• Many years of experience working as a CFO/Finance Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, reporting, taxation, and risk management.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A humble and driven personality.

About the process

The start date for the assignment is flexible, but no later than around the turn of the year. The assignment is expected to last for at least six months, and the client would welcome a candidate who is open to permanent employment after the end of the assignment. This is a full-time position based in the Stockholm area. Candidates will be presented on an ongoing basis, and interviews with the client company will be conducted shortly thereafter.
