Interim Financial Assistant

About the role:

In the role of Financial Assistant in Accounts Receivable, you will be part of the finance department consisting of four people and report to the Finance Manager. We work as a team and learn each other's tasks so that we can cover for each other, and therefore we would like you to have broad experience in both accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as day-to-day accounting. You will be involved in all customer-related processes and be responsible for day-to-day management of accounts receivable, as well as participating in the development of our collaboration methods at a fast-growing company. You will also work on developing processes for reminders and collection of outstanding receivables.
as well as reporting and data maintenance in connection with credit insurance, which is an important tool in our decision-making process. You will work closely with our Global Finance Team and, of course, other departments.

Examples of tasks:

• Maintenance of customer accounts
• Manage contact surfaces, both internal and external
• Reconciliations
• Ongoing accounting
• Payments
• Reminders – and claims management
•  Assist with year-end closing
• Assists with other tasks that arise in the finance department.
• VAT-related issues – such as sounding board for internal sales

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as an accounting assistant in accounts receivable
• Good knowledge of financial systems
• Knowledge of the Office suite
• Fluency in spoken and written Swedish is a requirement, but English also facilitates communication within the group. As our customers are global, French and German are also advantageous.
• We place great importance on your personal qualities in this recruitment process, and experience with the IFS business system is considered an advantage.
• It is also advantageous if you have knowledge of credit management and a post-secondary education in economics.
