Interim Head of Business Control
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Head of Business Control for a company belonging to a group in banking and finance based in Stockholm. The assignment involves responsibility for compliance, accounting and business control.
Main duties:
- Internal rules and procedures for Finance.
- Internal and external reporting including regulatory reporting.
- Budget and forecast.
- Accounting and tax returns.
- Leads and quality assures ongoing accounting with outsourcing partners.
- Commission management.
- Dividends to owners.
- Business control.
- Supervision of a handful of employees.
To be eligible for the role:
- Several years of work experience as Accounting Manager and Head of Business Control in banking and finance.
- Experience in working with outsourcing partners for accounting is an advantage.
- Experience in running digitalization projects in finance is an advantage.
- Fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written.
The assignment is full-time and starts on June 19-26 and is expected to last until the end of March 2024.
