Interim E-Commerce Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim E-Commerce Manager for a fast-growing design company. The company operates throughout the Nordic region and is establishing itself in several European countries. The company's commercial model is based on 3 legs; e-commerce, own retail and wholesale partners. E-commerce and wholesale are the largest sales channels, with e-commerce being the fastest growing channel.
Main duties:
- Responsibility for e-com sales.
- Responsibility for budget and follow-up KPIs and targets.
- Require development needs linked to the site and customer experience to web agency Vaimo, together with E-com Product Owner.
- Requirements manager and responsible for Performance Marketing (Pineberry).
- Claimant towards other stakeholders for optimal e-commerce.
- Actively lead the work on best digital marketing, e.g. via newsletters, onsite experience, social media and campaigns to drive sales upwards.
- Continuously analyze and optimize the entire e-commerce business.
- Drive the development of the e-commerce team forward; skills development, new recruitments etc.
- Actively participate in defining the best Commercial Calendar for the season.
To be eligible for the role:
- At least 5 years of work experience in B2C e-commerce.
- Very good knowledge of Google Analytics and understanding of how different metrics can be linked to customer behavior.
- Used to working in Google's other products such as Ads, data studio, GA.
- Technical understanding and experience with Magento (not a requirement).
- Experience of working in a sales-focused, commercial and conversion-driven way.
- Knowledge of in SEO & SEM.
- Knowledge in traffic driving, customer behavior, conversion optimization.
- Results-driven, analytical, methodical and structured.
About the process:
The assignment is for about 8-10 months and is a full-time temporary position that starts around mid-August.
