Interim Search has been commissioned to recruit an interim CFO for Gudrun Sjödén Design AB. The company was founded in 1976 by Gudrun and Björn Sjödén. The company is still run by Gudrun as active owner/CEO/designer/creative director. The company is currently owned 70% by Gudrun Sjödén and 30% by Ratos.
Gudrun Sjödén Design AB has a turnover of SEK 800 million and operates in eight countries. As Finance Manager, you will lead the finance department, which consists of five people, and report to the CEO. Your main responsibilities will be:
- Financial statements, including consolidated financial statements
- Controlling and follow-up
- Currency and tax issues
- Reporting to the board (owners)
- Financial support for managers and local reporting
To be eligible for the role, you must have a university degree in economics and at least 10 years' experience as a finance manager – preferably with experience from a similar industry. You should be driven and hands-on, have worked in international operations, and have experience of consolidated accounting and working in owner-managed/venture capital-owned companies. You will be working in the Harmony ERP system and the accounting system is Scala. Experience of these is an advantage.
