Interim Group Financial Controller

Main duties:

• Manage and develop financial accounting and reporting at group level in line with legal and US GAAP requirements. The company will go from private to public.
• Manage and develop financial accounting and reporting at legal entity level in line with statutory local IFRS requirements.
• Lead the team of 5 people.
• Prepare statutory and other financial reporting for the group, including Responsibility for the preparation of the consolidated group accounts (Annual Report).
• System owner of the consolidation system. The company will most likely change from current consolidation system Cognos to instead use One Stream.
• Maintenance of the Group Accounting manual, including regular review with business owners to ensure accurate and up to date. Ownership of group chart of accounts.
• Manage the accounting process for acquisition and disposal of subsidiaries, including Purchase Price Allocations.

To be eligible for the role:

• University degree in Economics, Business Administration or similar
• Experience in IFRS and K3 is required
• Experience in Finance, Controlling, Chartered Accounting
• We believe that you have a proactive mindset and are not afraid to question processes and drive change initiatives.
• Desirable experience with US GAAP and SOX
• Desirable experience in ERP system D365 and Axapta and consolidation tools Cognos and One stream.
