He runs Interim Search in Malmö
Interim Search opens an office in Malmö. At the helm is newly recruited Martin Edqvist, who took on the role of Director/Recruitment Consultant in March and will mainly be responsible for the clientele in southern Sweden. Martin comes most recently from the role of Senior Consultant at Lisberg Executive Search.
Martin has extensive experience in Executive Search, headhunting and HR in companies such as Tetra Pak, Rejlers, K2 Search and Lisberg Executive Search. Throughout his professional life, he has recruited employees and appointed consultants for clients ranging from smaller growth companies to multinational groups. Now the next challenge awaits as Director/Recruitment Consultant at Interim Search, with a special task to grow the clientele in southern Sweden.
Welcome to us Martin! Why did you choose Interim Search?
I have been following the incredible growth journey of Interim Search for a long time, and since I want to focus on interim management it felt natural to join Sweden's leading player in the field. After a week in the company, I have confirmed the wonderful energy, pragmatism and customer focus that characterizes the organization and colleagues.
How can you contribute to the continued strong growth of Interim Search and the local establishment in Malmö?
I know the job - providing clients with business-critical managers and specialists who are not normally on their own radar or part of their own networks. After so many years in the recruitment industry, I have learned to be solution-oriented, responsive and creative in these pressured situations. In addition, I have built up a large network of both candidates and clients, especially in southern Sweden, which will help to implement the growth initiative locally.
What drives you in your recruitment role that has kept you on a similar path?
The recruitment role combines my interests in people, leadership, performance and doing business. As a recruitment consultant, you are constantly measured on your latest presentation, which means I have to continuously push my own development.
Finally, what is your vision for a further career in Interim Search?
I want to further consolidate Interim Search on the map in southern Sweden. I am in a phase of life where I can and want to spend a lot of time and energy on my work and I see great opportunities in working in such a forward-looking and fast-growing company as Interim Search.
