Interim VP Sales

Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim VP Sales to a start-up company in strong growth in Stockholm.

In the role of interim VP Sales, you will take sales to the next level and have overall responsibility for the sales team's build-up, development and management.

 

Main duties:

  • Develop processes and tools and implement system support.
  • Develop and implement bonus schemes.
  • Create proactive sales methods
  • Lead efforts to broaden the business for new and existing customers.
  • Be part of the management team and develop both services and technology together with other functions.
  • Customer responsibility and own sales budget during the set-up phase of the sales department.
  • Report to the COO and staff responsibility for two team members. (Which will grow)
  • Continuously develop the business including reviewing customer segmentation, identifying new markets and continuing to develop our service offering.
  • Lead the sales team including recruitment including onboarding, coaching, follow-up, training, Develop and present forecasts.
  • Define, measure and report sales KPIs to the group and management.
  • Customer success, business development and finding alternative business models in the role.

 

We are looking for you:

  • Who wants to be involved in developing both processes and employees in sales.
  • You are results-oriented and have a proven track record of service sales
  • You have several years of experience in managing and developing a sales team.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment with a high level of activity and many external and internal contacts.
  • You enjoy being half on site at our office in Stockholm and the other half with customers and partners.
  • We believe that you have experience in sales of SaaS services or other types of consultative sales.
  • You have been involved in building teams in sales, preferably in a Scale Up environment.
  • You are good at building relationships, inspiring confidence and have good negotiation skills.
  • You are solution-oriented and responsive but also strategic and operational.
  • Experience in public procurement is an advantage.

 

About the process:

The assignment is initially for 6 months and starts no later than January 10, 2022. We present candidates on an ongoing basis and interviews take place in connection with the client company.
