Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Controller to an industrial and construction company in Östersund. The company has a turnover of SEK 300 million and is part of an international group. You will report to the Finance Manager for Sweden, who is based in Stockholm.
Your job is to be in charge of analyzing and forecasting ongoing projects, running the department's budget process, and being a sounding board for project managers and other coworkers on a daily basis from a financial perspective. You'll also be involved in closing the books, and some day-to-day accounting is part of the job. We are looking for someone who has worked for a number of years with controlling at a construction company or project-oriented organization and has experience with progressive profit calculation. You should have a good understanding of accounting and preferably experience with Monitor. To succeed in this role, you should be a self-motivated, unpretentious person with thick skin.
