Ericsson CEO Börje Ekholm receives our award for his unique way of leading to success - despite the great challenges of the pandemic

This is the sixth year in a row that the Change Leader of the Year award is presented. As in previous years, awards are given in three categories: Large Companies, Medium-sized Companies, and a varying award with a unique theme for the year, which this year is Crisis Manager of the Year.
Today, the award is presented in the Large Companies category. The award for ”Crisis Manager of the Year” will be presented next week and in week 19 the award for ”Change Leader of the Year - Medium-sized Companies” will be presented.

He has been a role model in quickly and efficiently transforming the business and enabled remote working for most of the 100,000 employees in 180 countries. Under Börje's leadership, Ericson has had a positive share performance and loss has been turned into profit and the ambitious investment in the 5G network guarantees continued growth. He is described as a down-to-earth rock star who is accessible to everyone, with a straightforward approach and as a confident leader in both success and adversity.”
