Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim Production Logistics Manager to a production facility in Eastern Småland.
As Production Logistics Manager, you will be part of the factory management team and report to the Factory Manager. You will work closely with the group's central logistics department and with contacts both in Sweden and Europe.
Main duties:
As Production Logistics Manager, you are responsible for capacity and demand planning of machine groups. You are also responsible for overall logistics issues in the factory, such as stock dimensioning, inventory, possible subcontracting and material flows and purchasing. Furthermore, you are responsible for production planning and call-offs, as well as for the development and follow-up of goals within the area of responsibility regarding, among other things, stock levels. You will also ensure that stock balances are correct and that customer orders receive correct delivery times. In the role, you are also responsible for cyclical inventory and continuous maintenance of basic data, capacity, etc.
- Initiate, develop, drive and improve ways of working and methods in production logistics.
- Assist in analyzing the outcome of the compiled SOP file.
- Actively monitor delivery times and inform the marketing department of delays.
- Investigate and respond to inquiries on current products.
- Ensuring that the right production materials are in the factory at the right time.
- If necessary, initiate time studies in production to adjust parameters in SAP.
- Managing your own ADD cases.
- Ensure that transportation to and from the factory follows the set schedule.
- Call-off of raw materials.
- Participate in new product projects.
- Make sure materials and production groups have correct parameters in SAP.
To be eligible for the role, you have:
- University degree in logistics, engineering or economics.
- Good knowledge of production logistics and production flows.
- SAP and/or other major business system.
- Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and very good knowledge of English.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in production logistics in the manufacturing industry is required.
About the process:
The assignment is full-time for at least 6 months and should lead to a permanent position in the company.
