After laying the groundwork as a certified public accountant, Mathias decided to start his own consulting company, where he was responsible for the finances of a number of entrepreneurial companies. After three years, he was recruited to the role of CFO for an international software company, where he was part of the management team and reported to the head office in Italy. His responsibilities included finance, IT, logistics, and warehouse management. He decided to return to consulting and was hired by a distribution company as interim CFO with responsibility for seven people, five companies, and a billion in revenue. This achievement opened up a range of opportunities, and he was hired by an international insurance company, a fast-growing manufacturer of household products, and a company that supplies IT infrastructure. He recently completed an assignment as interim CFO for our client, who is very satisfied and has extended his contract several times.
