Interim Head of Business Control

For the role of Interim Head of Business Control, we are looking for an experienced and clear leader to join a team of nine experienced colleagues. New guidelines and expectations at the customer place demands on you as a natural leader to successfully raise and develop culture, working methods and to drive projects to goals as well as adapt routines and processes. You have a high level of business acumen and are used to communicating at a high level and leading through others.

Main duties: 

• Leading and driving the work of the nine-person controller team
• Support the controllers and accounting function in closing and reporting to ensure accurate periodic reporting to management and owners
• Improve business reporting through analysis and improvement
• Compile and present monthly reports and forecasts and provide analysis and recommendations to management and owners
• Drive and lead the daily work of developing business planning, reporting process and budget process
• Coordinate the controller function's work routines, reporting process and systems with foreign owner company
• Plan, monitor and analyze the company's performance and financial position
• Drive improvement projects and identify appropriate measures to improve financial performance

To be eligible for the role, you have:

• At least 7 years of experience in the role of Senior Business Controller and leader with the ability to drive and achieve development through others
• High business understanding with the ability to see development areas and implement them
• Experience in fast-paced companies and in an international environment
• Experience in changing and streamlining processes
• Good knowledge of Excel and overall good system skills
• Experience from practical accounting work, auditing or consulting work is an advantage
• Experience in a transaction-intensive industry in trade or distribution is an advantage
