Interim Change Manager Logistics
Interim Search has been appointed to recruit an interim Manager to NewTek. NewTek is a software company with 52 million USD in revenue and 140 employees. The company is based in San Antonio, Texas, with global inventory and a small workshop. Inventory is around 6 million USD.
In April 2019, NewTek was acquired by Vizrt.
The company has a short sales cycle and non-working processes related to forecasting needs. Procurement and inventory handling are Excel-based. In the role of interim Change Manager Logistics, you will help NewTek structure and reorganize processes within logistics, procurement, and warehousing.
Main tasks:
- Analyze the current setup within logistics, procurement, and warehouse functions and make suggestions for potential improvements.
- Structure the current warehouse and create a plan for how to potentially run two different warehouses for Vizrt and NewTek in the same place.
- Review setup for current outsourced hardware products
- Create a plan to migrate to the Vizrt ERP system (Navision) together with the Vizrt IT department.
- Review and propose a plan for potential future organizational setup
- Analyze and suggest what is needed to improve global logistics
