Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Strategic Buyer to a company active in the telecom industry. You will play a key role in strategic purchasing and the organization's continued digitization journey in cloud-based services through operational and coaching work. The position is located in central Stockholm.

Main duties:

Managing and implementing complex IT and systems procurements.
Support the Head of Strategic Sourcing in strategic and operational matters.
Coach and develop the skills of the purchasing team in IT, cloud-based services and digitalization.
Further develop purchasing processes, templates and standard contracts adapted for service and cloud purchasing.
Ensure that technical, commercial, legal and security requirements are integrated into tenders and contracts.
Translate technical requirements into commercial terms.

To be eligible for the role:

Experience in leading complex IT and systems procurements with high technical requirements in the telecom industry
Experience with complex supply structures and international suppliers
Experience with cloud-based services and service-based business models
Experience in TCO analysis, cost modeling and commercial risk management
Very strong negotiation skills and experience with the entire RFQ process
Ability to translate technical requirements into commercial and contractual terms
Experience in coaching, change management and competence development in purchasing

About the process

The assignment is initially 50 % with the possibility of 100 %, starting in early March and is expected to last about 6 months. We will present candidates during week 3 and interviews will take place in close connection. Do you have the right profile, are available and interested? Apply now!
