Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an interim measurement technician within a multinational industrial company. You will play a key role in ensuring drawing reading and CMM programming. As a measurement technician, you will be part of the quality group and report to the quality manager. The position is based in Västra Götaland.
Main duties:
- Perform measurement tasks using a CMM machine by creating and setting up programs within the company's development and production function.
- Advice on developing measurement plans, fixtures, and dimensioning.
- Test new or upcoming projects/products.
- Ensure that all equipment is stored in a quality-assured manner and that all measurements comply with applicable systems, agreements, and procedures.
To be eligible for the role:
- Previous experience of CMM programming and completed CMM training.
- Excellent understanding of drawings and experience in reading drawings and calibration.
- Good knowledge of English.
- Your approach to work is characterized by precision and structure.
- You have a genuine interest in technology and mathematics and are good at managing multiple points of contact.
- Trained engineer or equivalent in measurement technology, technical field, or CMM programming.
- Previous experience with 3D scanning is an advantage.
About the process
