Interim Production Manager
Interim Search has been commissioned to appoint an Interim Production Manager to a technology company in the Gothenburg region.
Main duties:
- Responsible for leading and developing the production team, as well as ensuring a safe and secure workplace.
- Design, monitor, and improve production processes and capacity utilization.
- Ensure that the manufactured product meets established quality standards, is delivered on schedule, and stays within budget. Production must meet the agreed-upon targets in customer agreements.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in areas such as efficiency (LEAN), automation, and digital solutions.
- Work closely with the research and development (R&D), purchasing, quality assurance, and company management departments.
- Contribute to expanding production capacity in line with increasing global demand.
To be eligible for the role:
- Degree in civil engineering or equivalent education in, for example, production, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in a leadership position in the manufacturing industry, preferably in high-tech manufacturing.
- Proven expertise in efficiency methods (LEAN), quality control, and optimization of production processes.
- Good theoretical and practical knowledge of materials technology and automated systems.
- Fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written.
