Footway currently has 35 employees at the office in Kista, is present in 11 European countries, is profitable and had sales of SEK 250 million in 2015. The aim is to achieve sales in the billions. Footway has just moved into new premises on floor 31 of Victoria Tower in Kista, Stockholm

In the role of Interim Purchasing Manager, you will work with the team, consisting of three buyers, to find and evaluate suppliers in Europe. The role includes increasing the degree of automation to be able to handle increased volumes in a cost-effective way while maintaining or increasing profitability.

In the role of Interim Purchasing Manager you will:

• Review how the procurement process can be further improved.
• Automate and streamline sourcing processes.
• Negotiate with suppliers.
• Contribute to the continued growth of the company.
• Streamline and improve operations.
• Report to the Head of Product and Sales.
• Not least - spreading job satisfaction among employees.

Who we are looking for:

• You are curious, enjoy a fast pace and are driven to improve processes.
• Has experience as a Purchasing Manager or Sourcing Manager and is a good negotiator with suppliers
• Experience from several different companies and industries and preferably from a fast-growing company.
• You have a high level of business acumen.
• Thinks in terms of profitability and is used to working with Excel and cost calculations.
• You are creative and have the ability to think outside the box.
• A doer who likes to roll up their sleeves and is stimulated by growth and thrives in an entrepreneurial company with a high level of ambition.

About the process:

The assignment is expected to start at the end of May and to last for six months. For the right person, the assignment may become permanent after the end of the interim assignment.
