Joel's background is in accounting and consolidated accounting, with the last fifteen years spent as a controller. For five of those years, he has been an interim consultant and has had several assignments in large companies and groups. Most of his roles have been system-oriented, and he has become accustomed to large financial systems such as Visma, SAP, and Cognos. As a consultant, Joel is independent and executive, driven by working in project form and with clear goals. He recently completed a year-long assignment at a construction company where he was responsible for monthly group reporting and ran two major improvement projects – the first involved developing systems after an ERP integration and the second involved improving internal processes for reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
