Carl worked for a long time as a Business Controller and Group Business Controller before being headhunted as CFO for a smaller company. His career has continued along the same path, but in recent years as an interim consultant. Carl has several successful assignments behind him, most of them involving change in companies that have recently undergone major transformations. In one of these assignments, Carl was hired after a merger and tasked with establishing an outsourced finance function responsible for monthly and quarterly financial statements. After the merger, Carl identified efficiency improvements and improvement projects that paved the way for future business development in sales and pricing. In all of Carl's roles, he acts as strategic support to management and owners. He is skilled at analyzing business systems and processes in terms of risk and compliance and also has well-founded commercial insights for executing business plans and establishing relationships with external parties and stakeholders.
