Erik is an engineer by training and worked for five years as a technical project manager for a construction company before being recruited internally to the finance department. The company underwent extensive expansion and he was promoted to controller and later project controller before being recruited externally. His new employer was a smaller group where he advanced to controller manager and then CFO. After fifteen years as an employee in construction and civil engineering, he decided to start his own consulting business and is now looking for his third interim assignment.
